Outside area

The Lombardy country house, Casa Bellavista, has four holiday apartments and lies above Colico, offering a wonderful panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Rural area with further residential houses in the neighbourhood. Situated in a lovely hillside location close to the Bay of Piona, it is only approx 5 minutes by car to the centre of town and the beach. The stunning garden of Casa Bellavista completes the rural idyll - a true oasis. It is easy to fall for the magic of this spacious, well-tended garden - beautifully landscaped with palms, fruit trees and spectacular flowering shrubs. In addition to the communal garden, every apartment also has its own delightful, spacious outside area with garden furniture, sun loungers, sunshade and barbeque. The garden is completely fenced. Below the pool area is Casa del Sole, a holiday property which also offers four apartments. The garden and pool are for the communal use of the guests of both houses.

Swimming and wellness

The holiday idyll is complete with the solar heated pool (with underwater lighting), the children's area with paddling pool, two table tennis tables and playground. Both the pool and the paddling pool are bounded.

Parking

There are parking places for your car within the grounds, next to the house. The parking spaces are illuminated at night.

Properties furnished and decorated in a light, rustic style, with a strong emphasis on comfort. Living rooms and bedrooms have beautiful wooden or tiled floors, bathrooms are decorated with Lombardy natural stone and light tiles. A holiday property for the whole family.

About the external stairs and the large roof terrace with mountain views you get into the large living area with kitchen and dinning table, sofa and double sofa bed on the lake side. A panoramic glass door opens onto a balcony overlooking the lake.

Regional and location information

On-site Mobility:
Your holiday home is a great starting point for walking or hiking to the town centre, lake and also up into the mountains.  Easily within walking distance (approx 700 m) is a small grocery shop where you can buy fresh rolls each morning. (Your morning rolls can also be delivered.)  Above the property, approx. 850 m away, is a traditional Osteria, or mountain restaurant.  Why not enjoy the panoramic views as you walk along to the neighbouring district of Villatico (approx. 10 minutes).  Once there, you will find a choice of between 4 - 5 restaurants.
Only a short distance away is the centre of Colico.  Take some time to wander through the narrow streets, browse around the many shops or visit the restaurants, bars, cafes and typical Lombardy trattorias.  The beautifully featured Piazza at the harbour extends an invitation to linger in one of the cafes or to simply sit and gaze at the spectacular scenery.
The pretty town of Colico is also a gateway for travellers wishing to explore the lake and surrounding area.  At the harbour, a public ferry service from the boat´s landing stage will take you to all the attractive towns and sights around the lake.  A regional train service runs directly from the small train station of Colico south to the fashion capital of Milan (with panoramic views of the lake) or north to Chiavenna/Sondrio.

Haus und Garten in ruhiger, weil etwas erhöhter Lage über Colico (ca. 340 m ü.NN.) sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Besteck ist manchmal etwas knapp. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Mountainbike-Touren in alle Richtungen. Uns hat es rundum gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.
