Outside area

Casa dei Musicisti is a spacious southwest-facing apartment with panoramic lake views. The apartment occupies a truly privileged position on the eastern shore of Lake Como's south-western arm between Bellagio and Como. Enjoy extensive views of the lake, to the north, the south and across to the mountains on the lake's west bank. Musicisti's charming, sun-drenched hillside terrace is the perfect vantage point. Luxury and relaxation combined with authentic Italian ambience makes this holiday home the ideal retreat, (for up to 6 people). This ground floor garden apartment has it's own private entrance. Elderly relatives of the landlord live in the apartment upstairs. The apartment has a well established private garden, which is well stocked with flowering plants and shrubs. There is a well kept lawn for outdoor games as well as Mediterranean rockery garden for you to enjoy. The kidney-shaped pool are purely for the enjoyment of the Musicisti apartment's guests, as are the patio with pergola, barbecue, sink and the panoramic terrace, which towers about 15 m. above. You can reach the terrace via the stairs. For the kids, a foosball table awaits. In this picturesque, country neighbourhood there are other similar style homes. Just below the house is the mountain road that runs up to Nesso You can enjoy Case dei Musicisti's spacious outdoor areas from first thing in the morning until the golden red sun sets peacefully over the lake. Sun and shade, this garden offers it all.

Swimming and wellness

Kidney-shaped pool (about ca. 9,5 m x 4,5 m, open from the mid of April till the mid of October, depending on the weather). The lake, which is approx. 1500m away, has a small beach and swimming area.

Parking

There is ample parking in the two private garages. The property's entrance gate is remote controlled. There are a number of steps leading to your apartment.

Without a doubt, this spacious apartment has two main highlights. Firstly, the privileged position of it's picturesque garden with the panoramic pool and the barbecue/patio area and secondly, it's proximity to the 'gems of Lake Como' - Bellagio and Como - which are only 10 and 15km away. The location is ideal for exploring Lake Como by car or boat. It's also an ideal starting point for some glorious hiking and mountain bike tours, an ideal way to enjoy the wonderful surrounding countryside. The landlord's son is an avid rower, if this is something that you're interested in, just let him know and he'll be happy to show you the Como rowing club. Casa dei Musicisti is an ideal year-round holiday home.

Floor plan and ambience

High quality furnishings, equipment and materials blend together to give a distinct 'feel-good' atmosphere to this stylish apartment: warm parquet, welcoming tiling and a mix of modern warm wall colours. Plus, the imaginative use of solid wood and charming, thoughtful details coupled with lots of natural light and lake views from the balcony that runs along the 'lake' side of the apartment. There is direct access to the garden on the mountain side of the house via the roof covered terrace. The design and furnishings throughout have been finely tuned to satisfy all your recreational and holidaying needs. There is an unmistakable 80's style that gives the Casa dei Musicisti a solid, well built and personal feel, in keeping with the overall decorative style of the house. The owners have a passion for music, which is tastefully reflected in certain details of Casa 'Musicisti'. On the ground floor a hallway connects the three double bedrooms, and two bathrooms. There is also a winter garden that overlooks the lake, and a wrap around balcony completes this idyllic Lake Como paradise. Optional: an roof apartment an an souterain apartment with a double bed. These two spare apartments are only available exclusively rented with the main house. This hillside home's exterior areas are built on various levels and to accommodate for the large height differences between the levels, it does have quite a number of stairs and rockery gardens. Therefore, this apartment could only be considered as partially suitable for disabled guests or those with restricted mobility. Additionally, we remind our guests with small children that increased supervision would be required when playing outside. - You enter the apartment via the roof covered garden terrace. The hallway leads into a well equipped, eat-in kitchen on the garden side of the house and into a large and cozy living room with a large leather 'corner' sofa and glass fronted fireplace on the lake side. There are two double bedrooms, each with a wrap around, lake view balcony and two bathrooms, one with a shower, the other a bath tub and both with wash stands, W.C. and bidet. On the north side, towards the mountains and the lake is the third double bedroom, with access to the cozy winter garden. In two of the double bedrooms, the beds can be pulled apart to make two singles. The attic apartment consists of everything, what is necassary. The living area has a sofa bed in good quality and Sat-TV. The little kitchen and a dining area are integrated into the living area. The bath room consists of a sitz bath, a wash stand and a toilet. The head room is limitated through the pitch of the roof.
