Outside area

The house Orchidea is located about 60m from the beach in the old fishing village of Gera Lario in the sunny northern part of Lake Como. Enjoy the sun on your lake-view balcony, in the garden or on the lake. The first floor and the adjoining apartment are rented out together, so that as a large family, you can enjoy plenty of privacy. Light up the barbecue and let the children play in the garden. The neighborhood comprises of other residential and holiday homes. There’s a stream with a bridge that you can cross and walk to the picturesque village and along the beach. Discover the various shops, restaurants and cafes plus the beautiful beaches, the bowling green, playground, beach pool, a fishing harbor and kite surfing school. The village road runs above the house.

Swimming and wellness

The largest protected area of Lombardy, the Pian di Spagna, - plus you’re close to sandy beaches, surf schools and waterfalls are nearby.

Parking

Parking space is available in the garage and there’s a parking space within the property grounds too. The driveway entry gate is remote controlled.

The Orchidea holiday home occupies an exceptional holiday location, close to the beach with various water sports, sporting activities and cultural experiences on the doorstep. Ideally suited for large families because of the separate living areas. The adjoining apartment is very practical: whether traveling as a large family or 2 families or 2 couples that want to vacation together or even single travelers that are friends - there is room for everyone.

Floor plan and ambience

The Orchidea holiday home is comfortable and well furnished with an open fireplace in the living room. Mediterranean style tiled flooring and modern furniture help create a welcoming ambiance. - The upstairs apartment and the adjoining apartment have separate entrances: Steps lead past the barbecue to the upstairs apartment’s entrance and it opens into the living area with a large balcony and kitchen situated on lake side of the house: A central feature of the living area is the glass fronted fireplace and there’s a separate but still open, fitted kitchen. The living area has a double sofa bed plus a balcony that faces the lake. The double bedroom is on the lake side of the house. On the mountain side of the house are the two twin bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath. Another bathroom is situated by the stairs and has a shower.

The adjoining apartment has a covered terrace and the entrance is on the lake side of the house. The double bedroom and bathroom are on the mountain side of the house too. The living area includes a large double sofa bed with a modern fitted kitchen and dining area off to the side.

Wir waren mit 7 Personen und Hund in diesem sehr schönen, hochwertig eingerichteten Haus und hatten OG und UG gemietet. Ideal für Urlaub mit dem Hund war das eingezäunte Grundstück und die tolle Lage, nur wenige Schritte vom Strand. Hier kann man seinen Vierbeiner, sofern man ihn gut abrufen kann, auch durchaus mal ohne Leine den See genießen lassen. Auch die Nachbarn waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt im Land Ferienhaus Orchidea, hatten eine super Zeit und viele tolle Momente.
